Whale Watching

Every year, from January 15th to March 20th, more than 5,000 humpback whales journey from as far away as Greenland to calve and mate in Samana Bay, East of Cabrera.

Often you can see them swimming past the villa on their way to the bay, but taking a whale watching excursion is the best way to see them.

The trip includes approximately 3 hours on board the whale watching boat with a marine biologist that will explain their behavior and answer questions. A truly remarkable and educational experience that you will never forget!
